as a side note the USD conversion for ¥19,800 is about $168 so i would expect the HD-DVD addon to be about $175-$199 so if you take the current price for a premium 360 via a deal on overstock.com that $339 + ~$175 = $514 pretty good deal IF you want a HD movie player... the best part is YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY IT! so you can have next gen gaming for as little as 339 for a premium.

able to have a digital output. all they need to do is make a hdmi cable that just plugs into the fancy port that the current av cable is plugged into. i said before that all they had to do was update the software and what do you know... tada! the thing is, like the ps3, only simplistic games wil ever really use 1080p so its not that big of a deal for games but for movie buffs its will be nice.
its a us company, ps3 will also be made in china since they pay thier workers $1 a day. its cheaper to make stuff there. it may not be right but that still doesnt change the fact that the ppl making the big $ are based in the us and japan.
i think its funny that xbox has a ff dev making games only for them and a now wii has one making games for them... makes you wonder what is so crapy bout the ps3 that they are all jumping ship.
they are not talking about b and g wifi bacues that is on ONE module, it doesn't list 3 modules there, it lists 2 one for blueooth and one for wifi and it states that the TWO will not transmit simultaneously. And if i remember correctly M$ said that they had looked at bluetooth for thier controllers but later decided to forgo it becuase of various issues and power porblems. so i would not be surprised if this is in fact NOT a typo.

correct, or if you buy the hd-dvd addon and have a game that uss these disks while you would still put the game in the internal drive to play the game if you put it in the hd-dvd drive there would be extra content like "making-of" stuff and other videos.
i didnt really notice anything special with the ai or the physics... where'd you pull that? def not gonna de-throne halo, might keep up with gears but... still not as good from what i've seen. there is a reason everyone (game mag type ppl) is talking bout gears and not about this.

the AI is only as good as the programming behind it... both systems are capable of about the same hardware wise so... yeah thats about it. nothing more to say.
i also just took back my release 360 cuz it started to stutter when playing back video for some reason all i did was box it back up (i always save my boxes for expensive toys) take it to the cust service desk and say i want to trade this in for one that works and they did, best part is that my g/f that works there got it for me (well i payed for it) using her x-mas 20% off anything one thing at walmart bonus and they still didnt say a thing.

this doesnt seem to be an offical MS cable its probably a monster cable so that could explain the high cost... considering that the monster cables norm cost 2x as much the MS should prob be about $50, and im sure some other 3rd party will prob make one for about $20. I expect an update to the dashboard as well to support this im guessing that is why no 3rd parties have gone and done this already.
